Indian Choreographer
Natyakalavisarada K.V.Satyanarayana is a well-known Kuchipudi dancer, choreographer, lyricist, & composer from India. He started an institute, named Sri Satya Kuchipudi and Janapada Nritya Academy, to coach a stream of disciples in the discipline of dance, both classical & folk. He was a dance director for some acclaimed Indian movies such as "Sruthilayalu", "Swarnakamalam", "Sutradharulu", & "Swathikiranam", in 1988, he won the prestigious Nandi Award given by the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh for choreographing the movie "Sruthilayalu", in 1989& 1990, he won the Bharathmuni Award. He was honored with the title of "Natyakalavisarada" by Pravandhra navya kala parisad Karagpur West Bengal , Kala swathi by Young Men‘s Hindu Association Eluru & Adharsha kala murthy by Adharsh samskruthika kala samithi vijyawada
He was offered "Kanakabishekam" (a decoration of golden flowers on the head) at Nuzivedu. His dancing feet were decorated with "Gandapenderam" (a golden anklet) by Indian association at Impel , Manipuri State & his wrists were decorated with "Swarna Kankanam" (a golden bracelets) at Youngstown Ohio USA, and by Krishna mahosthav committee at Machilipatam.
He was felicitated by Jagath guru his holiness Sri Jayandra saraswathi swamiji and his holiness Sri Sankara vijyendra saraswathi swamiji of Kanchi kamakoti peetam and paramapujya sri Ganapathi sachithanandha swamiji of mysore( Sri Datta peetam) was presented golden bracelet and gold chain. He was felicitated by past president of India Sri R.Venkata Raman , by A.P.state chief minister Dr.N.T.Rama Rao , by joint election commissioner Sri G.V.G .Krishna Murthy and many associations at India & ABROAD.
He has been touring the United States since 1989, giving performances & teaching at various places. He was appointed as "Asthana Natyacharya" for the Sri Laskhmi Narayana Temple of Youngstown, Ohio & for the Sri Shirdi Saibaba Temple of Pittsburg,Pennsylvania.
