   The accuracy required may be selected from the menu bar at the top –

Here accuracy is used for determining the number of observations ideally required for that level of accuracy. It can be selected anytime during or after the study to check whether the number of observations you have taken are sufficient or not.

The time can be measured in a variety of units which may be selected from the menu bar at the top –

Timesoft can also be used for finer analysis or Micromotion study by running the video film at a slower speed. Its clock adjusts automatically on entering the slowdown factor  and gives the actual time.

The Status bar at the bottom shows the various parameters selected by the user –

   By default (unless the user specify a different value) it takes –

                              Speed = Normal

                              Unit of time = Deciminute

                              Accuracy = 5% , at 95% confidence level

   Using Timesoft with a video -

                       The video film of the operation can be run in a separate window and placed above the 'Timesoft' window as shown in figure below -

The user can select "Always on top" option from the properties of the video film window and carry out the study as usual by observing the activity in the video film window and clicking "Take Time" at the completion of each element.

The video film window can be adjusted to any size suitable.

The readings will be recorded as usual (of course the user may see them only on minimizing the video film window).
