| Nandan Kumar has been studying in the field of textiles from last six years. He received his first degree in 2003, this being a first class graduation in Textile Technology from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. In 2003, he did his MSc in Advanced Textile and Performance Clothing with specialism in Coloration and Finishing Technology from University of Leeds (U.K). The Society of Dyers and Colourists sponsored his dissertation which was based on Replacement of Sodium Hydrosulphite with Eco- friendly reducing sugars in Vat dyeing of Cotton under the supervision of Dr. R. S. Blackburn. Following this, he is doing PhD sponsored by DuPont under the supervision of Prof. S. M. Burkinshaw. His theses are based on Application of Vat dyes on Polyester and Nylon. He also worked on the tonal change problem of Polyester wool blended fabric after finishing during his six months industrial practical training at Raymond, India | |||||||||||||||||||||
