This abhinaya piece is part of a shabdham Vaayu
Maindhane in praise of the monkey-faced god Anjaneya. Here, the baby Anjaneya
is playing, climbing trees, eating fruits. At that moment the Sun God was
passing through the sky. Anjaneya was merrily eating away fruits when he noticed
the glow. Anjaneya mistaking it to be a fruit, he was tempted to have it because
it was much larger than the fruit he had had. So,
he tried to obtain it. The Sun God is infuriated and hits Anjaneya on the
head unconscious. After his father's pleading, he is forgiven and regains
his original form.
