Located in the heart of the city on Ho Chi Min Sarani, the Golden Park Hotel is a venture of the Gujral Group of Companies. Built at a cost of Rs 38 crores the hotel has been operational since February 2001. The Golden Park is a 80 room boutique hotel and the first of its kind in the city. It has avante garde decor in the differently designed rooms, categorised as Indian, English, Chinese and Rajasthani. Each room has been created as a complete home, with multi-channel cable TV, mini bar, tea-coffee maker, DVD player, fax machine and an internet connection. The hotel is categorised as a four star hotel with attractive room tariffs, and is mainly targeted at corporate travellers. The hotel has two restaurants, Hunan and Pakhtoon, specialising in Oriental and Indian fare respectively, one twenty four hour coffee shop, Vibgyor and one night club called the London Pub. The hotel also has two conference halls, Piccadilly–i and Piccadilly–ii, with accommodations of 250 and 150 respectively, equipped with all modern facilities. |
