Catching the young… It was quite a crisp production. One must definitely compliment the Guru for having put in seventeen girls on stage in the choreography from which seven were dancers below the age group of ten. It was most beautiful to watch these tiny tots with their perfect araimandi doing skillful foot work. The senior dancers had good potential in them and danced with full enthusiasm.

The Pancha Nadai piece was unique also for the dancer skillfully danced it on a mud pot. In the number 'Sollaal Iyambida' on Lord Shiva with all decorative Karanas, Lakshmi unfolded the art in a sort of ecstatic mood, in which the performer and the viewer seemed to flow in the same stream of consciousness.
