SriDevi Nrithyalaya. Bharatanatyam dancers. Bharata Natyam DVD. Bharatnatyam. Bharathanatyam. Classical Indian Dance. Raja
Chairman: Justice K.S. Bakthavatsalam : (Bhatha Vidya Bhavan) Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan conducts a school of Bharathanatyam. As a dedicated dancer she is teaching many children the nuances of Bharathanatyam. I have seen a dance ballet on Ramanayanam years back. It is very difficult to organize a dance ballet with the young artists and she has done well.
I understand that the school, Sri Devi Nrithylaya, is celebrating its 18th anniversary and I wish well and that the school should train more students in Bharathanatyam adhering to our traditional form of dance.

I am happy to know that Sri Devi Nrithylaya established by Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan has been celebrating its 16th Anniversary this year. It is indeed a pleasure to send a message on the occasion of release of a souvenir in connection with the anniversary celebrations, as Sheela is my student and has undergone training in my Kuchipudi Art Academy for more than 7 years. Sheela had been sincere in prosecuting her training and was dedicated to the art. I feel proud for she has established an institution of her own and has been training several students in Bharatha Natyam style. Sheela is a model artiste for her students and other artists to emulate.
I wish her and her institutions all success.

Dr (Mrs.). Y.G. Parthasarathy, Chairperson, B.B.E.T. Dear Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan
I am happy to know that your dance school is celebrating its 16th anniversary.
I appreciate the good efforts taken by you and your staff in imparting classical dance to the young students and bringing out their innate talents thus grooming them as fine artistes.
I would like to mention here that Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan group of schools not only encourages young talents among students but also the teachers to have their own school of fine arts, apart from our own Cultural classes, wherein our students are getting trained. The students of such schools are also given chance to present their programmes under the auspices ofBharat Kalachar in their Yuva Utsav (Youth Festival) and other such Cultural events.
I wish the school all success and many more glories in the field of fine arts.

It gives me immense pleasure in congratulating Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan, the founder principal of Sri Devi Nrithyalaya, on its sixteenth anniversary celebration.
Sheela is dedicated guru and her services to the field of Bharatanatyam are well recognized. Sri Devi Nrithyalaya under her guidance has been successful in imparting and promoting this divine art. The school has a remarkable strength of more than hundred students and most of them have participated in several competitions and won laurels to themselves and to their guru Smt. Sheela. Her involvement and hard work are evident from the number of Arangetrams and performances conducted by her in all these years.
May Lord Nataraja and Parvathi, the divine dancing couple shower their grace on her enabling her to continue her services to the art of Bharatanatyam. I wish her good luck in all her endeavors.
