SELECTION AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The total intake of the College is divided into five categories, free seats, payment Karnataka seats, payment non-Karnataka seats, NRI/management seats and Diploma seats. Candidates desirous of taking seats in NRI quota/Management quota have to apply to the College. They have to send the application form along with copies of the marks card and other certificates to the Principal, Rural Engineering College, Bhalki or come directly to the College and approach the Chairman/Principal. Seats for the other categories except NRI/Management will be filled by the Govt. through Karnataka CET Cell, Bangalore.
Candidates interested to take admission in the above categories have to apply for admission to CET cell, Bangalore and write the Examinations. Candidates with Diploma qualifications have to apply to the Director of Technical Education, Bangalore. The dates for calling for the application will be published in leading news papers by CET cell abd DTE separately. The management can fill the unfilled/unalloted seats after cut off date fixed by the Government. The candidates may reserve the seats under this category.
