BIDAR is the crown city of Karnataka state. It is a well known historical place ruled by Bahamani Kings. Bhalki town is situated 40 km away from Bidar and is well connected by Train as well as Bus with Gulbarga, Hyderabad, Latur and Nanded. It has got a mixed culture of Maharashtra, Andhra pradesh and Karnataka and gives a combined taste of rural and city life. Bidar is also well known for its world famous "BIDRI WORKS".
The R.E.C., Bhalki which is affiliated to GULBARGA UNIVERSITY, Gulbarga and also VISVESWARAIAH TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, Belgaum is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, Came into existence in the year 1982.
The college Building has got a plinth area of 32,784 sq. meters and has got the provision of well equipped Labs, Library, Computer centre, Work shops, Drawing halls and Seminar halls.
