Superficially my paintings are a delightful conversation with my self and substantively they are of my inner being, the invisible one. The scenes executed on the canvas, have not been imitated from the nature but it is from within the land of my imaginative perception. I have visualized the mysterious ulterior place. I always craved for the things that was immortal and could satisfy my inner being in true sense.

The vast sweeping sky above the erected mountains, stands for another world which is eternal. The absence of any living creature signifies that the world inhabited by man is infinitely small in natures total scheme. For that mater all living things are a minority in it. Nature is eternal and man is mortal. This conveys my reverence and a spiritual yearning

Each of my paintings belong to a universe, uniquely my own. The massive clouds over sky have always been very significant for me. Its powerful sweeping curves make it a form of pure energy in dynamic suspense. My originality and virtuosity in painting cloud forms though observed in the nature but thematically they belong to my universe alone. The deliberate Presence of light effects in the sky which is repeatedly visible in each work is functioned as a life of my beingness and the silence of the vast landscape becomes activated by its mysterious gently light echoes. I could never have a major inclination towards the conventional way of oil painting in my recent works, because I had to adopt some innovative process in order to meet the demands of my particular need in the textural surface of the rocks.

Moreover, I always attributed a special stress upon the need to explore the newer methods of technique rather than only to express the ideas; yet it may be found somewhere, adopting the traditional approaches for the betterment of the compositional order in expressing my ideation according to its objectivity and implication.

My painterly handwriting is my knife work. But the key to my sensibility is found in my most unusual palette. All of the works are almost in monochromatic production with a typical kind of tonal variation. One can see the elaborate transitions of colour and tone, the precise arrangement of layers and planes, less visible even though they are still very much there.

My blues and yellows reveal the intensity of perception I have, where yellow is the emotional yearning of my inner being. The colours in my palette are coolest and the most luminous. A subtle transition Of blue into green is very much to my perception of the colour nature. Dissonance of colour can be seen Less in my works. Same group of colour appeases my mind.

My painting can be seen a rich distribution of textures on the surface of the different rocks. In my works the visual texture is not related to tactile surface Properties. They describe properties only in the visual sense, such as opaque and transparent, rough and smooth and hard in contrast to things that are soft and fragile. The texture which underlines and supports the atmosphere of the work is created by using a painting knife.
